http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/alex-gonzalez/Latest news about Alex Gonzalezen-usThu, 20 Jul 2017 14:05:54 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2017/07/20/15-year-old-alex-gonzalez-of-bolingbrook-fatally-shot-while-riding-in-vehicle-in-humboldt-park/<p><iframe src="http://homicides.suntimes.com/api/v1/homicides/2529.html" width="100%" height="350" frameborder=0></iframe></p> <p>Fifteen-year-old <a href="http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/alex-gonzalez/">Alex Gonzalez</a> of southwest suburban Bolingbrook was killed in a shooting Sunday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.</p> <p>At 12:17 a.m., the teen was a passenger in a vehicle heading north in the 1000 block of North Sacramento, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. </p> <p>Someone fired in a black sedan fired shots, and Gonzalez was struck multiple times in the back of his head, authorities said.</p> <p>Gonzales was taken to Norwegian American Hospital and then transferred to Stroger Hospital.
