McCray</a> died Friday, two weeks after he was robbed and shot in Washington Heights.</p> <p>The 29-year-old was in an alley in the 10200 block of South Lowe about 10 p.m. on Aug. 21 when someone walked up and announced a robbery, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.</p> <p>The robber then pulled out a gun, shot him in the chest and took off with his belongings, police said at the time.</p> <p>McCray, of the 400 block of West 100th Street, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died Friday at 4:09 p.m., authorities said.</p> <p>A Saturday autopsy found he died of complications from the gunshot wound and his death was ruled a homicide.</p> <p>Police did not have an update on the investigation Saturday night.<br /> <em><br /> —Chicago Sun-Times Wire </em></p> Jeff MayesSat, 05 Sep 2015 22:52:34 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2015/09/05/antwan-mccray-dies-two-weeks-after-being-robbed-and-shot-in-washington-heights/Antwan D.
