He was shot multiple times about 7 p.m. in the 2400 block of West 58th Street, authorities said.</p> <p>Monagan was struck in the back and left shoulder, police said. The group attempted to run away, but Monagan collapsed to the ground.</p> <p>Paramedics took Monagan , of the 7900 block of South Escanaba, to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was declared dead at 8:23 p.m., authorities said.</p> <p>Police said they believe Monagan had gang affiliations, but have not yet determined a motive for the shooting.</p> John CarpenterFri, 05 Apr 2013 15:20:27 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2013/04/05/man-in-gangway-shot-killed/Arrell Monegan
