Brandon Wilson fatally shot in Austin

Brandon Wilson was fatally shot early Saturday in the Austin neighborhood.

Wilson, 30, was found dead inside a vehicle in the 0-100 block of North Laramie Avenue about 3:05 a.m., authorities said. He had been shot in the back and neck, police said.

Wilson, of the 0-100 block of North Latrobe Avenue, was declared dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Nobody has been charged for the murder.

Area North detectives are investigating.
