http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/coby-bridgeman/Latest news about Coby Bridgemanen-usWed, 24 Jul 2013 03:58:52 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2013/07/24/man-shot-in-head-on-west-side-dies/<p>A man who was shot in the head in the Austin neighborhood late Tuesday has died.</p> <p><a href="http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/coby-bridgeman/" onclick="javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','outbound-article','http://homicides.suntimes.com']);">Coby Bridgeman</a>, 29, was outside in the 5600 block of West Washington Boulevard when three men approached about 10:20 p.m., authorities said.</p> <p>One of the men pulled out a handgun and shot the man in the head, police said.</p> <p>Bridgeman was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood in critical condition. He died from his injuries sometime about 3:09 a.m. Wednesday, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said.</p> <p>Area North detectives launched an investigation.
