Danial Zaffar shot to death in West Ridge

Danial Zaffar was fatally shot in the West Ridge neighborhood early Saturday.

Police found Zaffar shot in the head in an alley in the 5700 block of North Campbell Avenue about 5 a.m. Saturday, authorities said.

Zaffar, 18, of an unidentified home address, was declared dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

An autopsy confirmed Zaffar died of multiple gunshot wounds and the death was ruled a homicide.

Nobody has been charged for the murder.

Area North detectives are investigating.
