Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where he died at 9:43 p.m., according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.</p> <p>Abdul R. The other man, 27, died at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County from gunshot wounds to his back and left arm, police said.</p> <p>The 16-year-old boy, who was shot in the temple and thigh, died just before midnight at Northwestern Memorial Hospital according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.</p> <p>The Medical Examiner’s office declined to release the names of the three slain men.<span id="more-2358"></span></p> <p>Later, in the Washington Heights neighborhood, 24-year-old Ashton Pugh died following a gang-related shooting in the 8900 block of South May, authorities said. Pugh was on the sidewalk when gunfire erupted from a dark-colored sedan passing by and police responded to the scene about 8:30 p.m., police said. He was shot in the abdomen and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died at 9:03 a.m., authorities said.</p> <p>In the most recent nonfatal shooting, a 21-year-old man was shot about 11:30 p.m. while walking along a street in the West Pullman neighborhood. The man told police he was walking near 117th Street and Normal Avenue when a gunman emerged from an alley and opened fire, police said. One of the bullets struck him in the foot. He was listed in good condition at Roseland Community Hospital, police said.</p> <p>About 9:10 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the chest in the 2600 block of South Trumbull Avenue in the Little Village neighborhood. He was standing on the sidewalk when someone in a light-color van drove by and shot him. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.</p> <p>About 8:45 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg while walking home in the Roseland neighborhood. Police said a group of people — including one person he knew — approached him in the 11300 block of South Eggleston Avenue and someone started shooting, police said. The teen, who didn’t see who shot him, was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.</p> <p>About 7:45 p.m., a 41-year-old man was shot in the foot on a porch in the 1100 block of West 112th Street in Morgan Park neighborhood, police said. He was taken to Roseland Community Hospital.</p> <p>The afternoon’s first shooting happened about 4:35 p.m. in the New City neighborhood on the South Side, where a man, a woman and a dog were shot in a drive-by attack. A gunman in a gray SUV opened fire at a group of people standing in the 5000 block of South Peoria, police said. A 21-year-old woman was shot in the right arm, and a 25-year-old man was struck in the left leg, police said. Both taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center in good condition, authorities said.
