http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/jacobie-lee-james/Latest news about Jacobie Lee Jamesen-usFri, 12 May 2017 11:11:37 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2017/05/12/jacobie-lee-james-shot-to-death-by-two-men-in-the-lawndale-neighborhood-where-he-lived/<p><iframe src="http://homicides.suntimes.com/api/v1/homicides/2352.html" width="100%" height="350" frameborder=0></iframe></p> <p><a href="http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/jacobie-lee-james/">Jacobie Lee James</a> was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.</p> <p>At 2:47 p.m., the 19-year-old James was standing in the 3800 block of West Ogden when a black vehicle pulled up, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.</p> <p>Two people got out from the back of the vehicle and started shooting, police said. The vehicle then drove away.</p> <p>James was shot in the head and chest, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:11 p.m., authorities said.
