http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/jesse-gonzalez/Latest news about Jesse Gonzalezen-usTue, 01 Oct 2013 09:59:57 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2013/10/01/man-stabbed-on-southwest-side-dies/<p>A man who was stabbed multiple times during a gang-related brawl in the Southwest Side Clearing neighborhood died Monday morning, according to authorities.</p> <p>Jesse Gonzalez, 18, of the 6100 block of South Rockwell Street, was pronounced dead about 7:40 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.</p> <p>Gonzalez was stabbed about 1:35 a.m. Monday in the 6500 block of South Kilpatrick Avenue during a street fight with about three other people, authorities said.</p> <p>One person is thought to have struck him in the head, while another stabbed him, said police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.</p> <p>Police suspect the stabbing was gang-related, he said.</p> <p>No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.</p> Sun-Times Media WireTue, 01 Oct 2013 09:59:57 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2013/10/01/man-stabbed-on-southwest-side-dies/Jesse Gonzalez
