http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/johnta-mccomb/Latest news about Johnta McComben-usSun, 30 Apr 2017 11:21:18 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2017/04/30/johnta-da-drop-mccomb-shot-to-death-by-two-men-in-west-garfield-park/<p><iframe src="http://homicides.suntimes.com/api/v1/homicides/2334.html" width="100%" height="350" frameborder=0></iframe></p> <p><a href="http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/johnta-mccomb/">Johnta "Da Drop" McComb</a> was fatally shot Friday morning in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.</p> <p>About 11:15 a.m., two men with guns walked up to the 27-year-old in the 200 block of South Kilpatrick Avenue and fired shots, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.</p> <p>McComb hwas hit in the back and buttocks, and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died at 12:07 p.m., authorities said.
