Dixon</a> was shot to death late Friday in the same block of Grand Crossing on the South Side where another man was fatally shot by a police the day before.</p> <p>The shooting happened around 11:10 p.m. Friday, police said.</p> <p>Officers responding to a call of shots fired in the 7500 block of South Langley found the 25-year-old on a sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the chest.</p> <p>Dixon was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where he died of a gunshot wound to the chest, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He lived in the 600 block of East 76th Street.</p> <p>Less than 24 hours earlier, police shot and killed a 27-year-old man who they say pointed a gun at them on the same block.
