http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/marcus-weathers/Latest news about Marcus Weathersen-usWed, 02 Sep 2015 12:33:08 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2015/09/02/16-year-old-marcus-weathers-killed-woman-and-teen-injured-in-north-lawndale-drive-by/<p><iframe src="http://homicides.suntimes.com/api/v1/homicides/1203.html" width="100%" height="350" frameborder=0></iframe><br /> Sixteen-year-old <a href="http://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/marcus-weathers/">Marcus Weathers</a> was killed, and two other people, including a 14-year-old girl, were wounded in a drive-by shooting late Tuesday in North Lawndale.</p> <p>Weathers was standing on a front porch in the 1300 block of South Kostner with the girl and a 42-year-old woman about 11:40 p.m. when a white, four-door car drove by and someone inside fired shots at them, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.</p> <p>Weathers, who lived on the same block, was shot in the back, and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died at 1 a.m., according to police and the medical examiner's office.</p> <p>The woman was shot in the right leg and the girl was shot in the back, police said.
