Both were taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center.</p> <p>Malave, of the 3300 block of Rose Street in Franklin Park, was shot in the head and died about an hour later at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, authorities said.</p> <p>Madrid, of the 1600 bock of North LeClaire Avenue, was shot multiple times and died that afternoon at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, authorities said.</p> <p>An autopsy confirmed that both died of multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled homicides, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.</p> <p>Nobody has been charged for the killings.</p> <p>Area North detectives are investigating if the shooting was gang related.</p> <p>-- Sun-Times Media Wire</p> Michael LansuTue, 21 Apr 2015 10:46:05 -0500http://homicides.suntimes.com/2015/04/21/michelle-malave-simmy-madrid-fatally-shot-in-belmont-cragin/Simmy MadridMichelle Malave
