Tayshaun Dyson | Homicide Watch Chicagohttp://homicides.suntimes.com/victims/tayshaun-dyson/Latest news about Tayshaun Dysonen-usWed, 28 Aug 2013 03:17:53 -0500Autopsy: Washington Heights infant was murderedhttp://homicides.suntimes.com/2013/08/28/autopsy-washington-heights-infant-was-murdered/<p>The death of a 3-month-old boy from the South Side Washington Heights neighborhood has been ruled a homicide after an autopsy found the infant died from a head injury and child abuse.</p> <p>The state Department of Children &amp; Family Services and Chicago Police are investigating the death of Tayshaun Dyson, who was found unresponsive at his home in the 8900 block of South Throop Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. <span id="more-2052"></span></p> <p>Authorities found the boy unresponsive when they arrived at the home about 3:40 p.m. last Thursday, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.</p> <p>Tayshaun was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 8:16 a.m. Sunday, the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy Tuesday ruled the cause of death a closed head injury and child abuse, and the death was ruled a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.</p> <p>DCFS is investigating allegations of abuse against the father, spokesman Dave Clarkin said Monday.
