A man was shot to death in the West Garfield Park Friday morning, authorities said.
Marcus Wallace, 23, of the 3700 block of West Division Street, was pronounced dead about 7:55 a.m. Friday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Police say that about 7:10 a.m. Wallace was found collapsed at the intersection of West Van Buren Street and South Pulaski Road after being shot multiple times.
Police could not specify the number of shots that were fired, nor the number of bullets that struck him.
No one is in custody.
