Jonathan Santiago, 19, was shot and killed in the Humboldt Park neighborhood early Saturday morning, authorities said. He was standing in a group in the 3300 block of West Beach Avenue about 2:45 a.m. when two males came out of a nearby gangway and opened fire, striking him in the chest, police said. Santiago was pronounced dead at Norwegian-American Hospital at 3:12 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
