He was pronounced dead at the scene at about 10:45 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
An autopsy on Tuesday found Wright had suffered a fatal gunshot to the head and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Area North detectives are conducting a death investigation, but police had no additional information as of Tuesday afternoon.
