Obituary

Marcus Jamarr Wallace, Sr., was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Charlotte Wallace on Feb. 26, 1989. Marcus attended Wells High School in Chicago, Illinois, and went on to receive his G.E.D. He also achieved a certificate in culinary arts. He3 embraced Christ at an early age.
Marcus was fun-loving, free-spirited young man who loved to smile, which was a lei
sure to see because he had a great one. That was one of the first things people noticed and would always associate with him whenever they spoke of him. The most important thing to Marcus was his son, his twin, Lil Marcus. He loved him dearly and tried hard to get and give him the things he needed and wanted. Marcus liked to live in lavish and thought that his twin should too. They shared the love of basketball and played many games together. Marcus also loved drawing and writing lyrics about how he saw the world and his life.
Marcus was 6’2” and called everyone Shorty. Marcus spent time recording alongside his dad in their studio, where he did several recordings. He had been assembling a mixed tape of his works to distribute. He was such a wonderful young man so full of life. We cherish his memories for comfort as we comprehend this profound loss. It was an honor and pleasure to have him in our lives.
