A man was fatally stabbed early Friday in the South Side Grand Boulevard neighborhood.
A friend found the 24-year-old man stabbed multiple times in an alley in the 4000 block of South Calumet Avenue at 12:40 a.m., police News Affairs Hector Alfaro said.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:38 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office, who would not release the identification of the victim pending family notification.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
