A woman was found stabbed to death in her South Shore home Thursday morning.
Police were called to the home of 51-year-old Nina Rogers in the 7100 block of South Ridgeland Avenue about 9:45 a.m. Thursday, authorities said.
Officers found Rogers unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to the head.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. An autopsy determined she died of multiple stab wounds and the death was ruled a homicide.
No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
