A man who was shot in the head in the Old Town neighborhood Saturday afternoon has died.
Ramaine Hill, 22, was in the 1200 block of North Orleans Street, about a block from the Near North police district, when an armed man shot him in the head and fled east on foot about 1:20 p.m., authorities said.
Hill, of the 7000 block of West Blackhawk Street, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he died Sunday at 10:08 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
No one was in custody while Area Central detectives investigated.
