An Austin man died Wednesday, more than a month after he was critically hurt in a shooting on the West Side.
The 23-year-old man was outside in the 1100 block of North Waller Avenue when he was shot multiple times in the chest and back at 11:33 p.m. Aug. 8, police said at the time.
Lamarius Tatum, of the 900 block of North Laramie Avenue, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where he died at 6:23 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
