Gregory Daniel was found shot to death in his Austin neighborhood apartment Monday night on the West Side.
A friend found the 48-year-old Daniel on the bedroom floor in his apartment in the 5300 block of West Adams Street about 9:45 p.m. Monday, authorities said. Daniel was shot in the head and abdomen area.
Daniel had not been in contact with friends or family for two days before he was found, authorities said.
Area North detectives are investigating.
