Autopsy: Latasha Amos run over by SUV, death ruled homicide

The death of a West Side woman fatally struck by an SUV early Sunday in the Austin neighborhood has been ruled a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Latasha Amos, 37, was struck by a vehicle and found unresponsive in the 1100 block of North Mason Avenue about 3 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.
