A man found shot dead in a Rogers Park alley early Wednesday has been identified.
Police found Mark Villanueva dead in the alley in the the 7500 block of North Greenview Avenue about 2:50 a.m. Wednesday, authorities said. He had been shot in the face and chest.
Villanueva, 30, of the 7600 block of North Bosworth Avenue, was declared dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Area North detectives are investigating.
