A 17-year-old boy wounded in a Monday afternoon shooting in the Chatham neighborhood died on Wednesday.
Ladarius Brisco was found shot in the head in the 8200 block of South Champlain Avenue about 1 p.m. Monday, authorities said.
Brisco, of the 8200 block of South Vernon Avenue, was initially taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he died at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Area South detectives are investigating.
