Eric Hunt was shot and killed early Christmas morning in the West Englewood neighborhood.
Hunt, 40, was found by police with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1200 block of West 73rd Place about 12:15 a.m., authorities said.
Hunt, of the 4300 block of South Calumet Avenue, was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was pronounced dead at 8:32 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Area South detectives are investigating.
