Quinton Jackson was fatally shot Wednesday morning in a Greater Grand Crossing building.
Paramedics responded about 6:15 a.m. to reports of a man bleeding in a hallway of a building in the 7800 block of South Ingleside Avenue, police said.
Emergency crews found Jackson dead with a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.
Jackson, 22, of the 100 block of East 103rd Street, was declared dead on the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged with the murder.
Area South detectives are investigating.
