Demario Collins was killed in a Wednesday afternoon shooting that left two others wounded in the North Lawndale neighborhood.
The three were in a vehicle in the 1600 block of South St. Louis Avenue when three gunmen fired in their direction at 3:07 p.m., police said.
Collins, 19, of the 2100 block of South St. Louis Avenue, was shot in the head, arm and shoulder, authorities said. He died at Mount Sinai Hospital at 8:03 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
A 19-year-old woman and 21-year-old man were also wounded by gunfire, police said. Both were initially listed in good condition.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
