Summer Moore was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in the Morgan Park neighborhood. Reader “Kita” posted this about the shooting:
First off it was my daughter prom send off and my moms house,That was my cousin who life was taken by some idiot trying to shoot someone else and those bullets was not intended for my family!! Neither one of us is in a gang and she was a innocent victim!!! Whatever was said in the time of grief at the hospital has nothing to do with her being in a gang! Those was ppl dealing with a sad tragedy that had just took place, She was a wonderful,beautiful,loving Mother,sister,cousin,friend inside and out and she didn’t deserve this! I pray for your ignorance because clearly you don’t know any better,Everybody ain’t gangbangers and even if she did know ppl who was it don’t make her a target
