Nicholas Vaughan was fatally shot Friday afternoon in West Englewood.
Vaughan, 25, was found dead about in a vacant lot in the 6800 block of South Laflin Street about 2:30 p.m. Friday, authorities said.
An autopsy determined Vaughan, of an unidentified home address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
