A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Wednesday night when a bullet went through a window in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
Darren Foggey was shot was in a bedroom in the 6700 block of South Artesian Avenue when a bullet went through a window and struck him in the neck about 9:25 p.m., authorities said.
Foggey, of the 6900 block of South Artesian Avenue, died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
