A 46-year-old man has died nearly two weeks after being shot in the Englewood neighborhood.
Antwan James was in an alley in the 1200 block of West 72nd Place when someone walked up and opened fire about 9 p.m. July 21, authorities said.
He was shot in the chest, leg, hip and arm, police said.
James, of the 8000 block of South Carpenter Street, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died at 9:08 a.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
