Jerome N. Harris, 17, was fatally shot Sunday night in the Morgan Park community. Harris was on parole for shooting a police officer in the same neighborhood in 2012. Reader “chicagorich” posted this about the situation:
Amazing that you can shoot a police officer in this city and serve only 18 months. Really sad that this guy wasn’t the only one who has done that and served less than two years for it.
