Seadl Commings was fatally shot Monday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
Police found Commings, 27, in the street with a gunshot wound to the chest in the 800 block of South Central Park Avenue about 11:35 p.m. Monday, authorities said.
Commings, of the 3600 block of West Polk Street, died at Mount Sinai Hospital at 12:14 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area North detectives are investigating if the shooting is gang related.
