Malachi Baldwin was killed in an Englewood shooting that left two other men injured Friday night.
The men — ages 25, 27 and 63 — were outside in the 5700 block of South Aberdeen Street when two people walked out of a gangway and opened fire about 10:15 p.m., police said.
Baldwin, 27, of the 5600 block of South Elizabeth Street, was shot in the head and died at the scene, authorities said.
The 25-year-old was shot in the abdomen and was hospitalized at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. The 63-year-old man was shot in the hand and taken to St. Bernard Hospital.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area South detectives are investigating if the shooting is gang related.
