An unidentified teenager police found shot in the head on a Gage Park street has died.
Officers found the teen lying in the street in the 5400 block of South Talman Avenue about 9:20 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
The teen was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot to the head, authorities said. He died at the hospital on Monday.
A Wednesday autopsy confirmed he died of a gunshot wound to the head and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The teen remained unidentified Wednesday afternoon.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
