Reginald Boston was stabbed to death Thursday evening in what police called a domestic incident on the South Side.
Police said the 44-year-old was stabbed in the chest at a home in the 300 block of East 48th Street about 6 p.m. However, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said the stabbing happened in the 5500 block of South King Drive.
Boston, of the 3500 block of West 74th Street, died about an hour later at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, authorities said.
A Friday autopsy confirmed Boston died from multiple stab wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
“All parties involved” in the stabbing remained at the scene, police said.
Area Central detectives are investigating, but police said no charges were pending as of Friday night.
