Jhakel Clark, 15, killed in Chicago Lawn shooting

A 15-year-old boy was killed in a Chicago Lawn shooting that left two other teens wounded Friday afternoon.

Jhakel Clark was shot in the head in the 3100 block of West 64th Street about 3:30 p.m., authorities said.

Jahakel, of the 6500 block of South Fairfield Avenue, died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Two other boys, 14 and 16, were wounded in the shooting, police said. Both teens were taken to local hospitals, where they were treated for their injuries.

Nobody has been charged for the murder.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
