A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder in the Saturday night shooting death of Bernard Pippen in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
Officers responding to a call of a shots fired found Pippen shot in the neck in the 9600 block of South Green Street about 6:50 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
Pippen, 18, of the 11000 block of South State Street, died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
On Sunday, 15-year-old Scott Diasee was charged as an adult with first-degree murder and ordered held on $2 million bond. He will be back in court Feb. 6.
