Christopher Cage charged with murder in West Pullman shooting death of Myron Collier

Christopher Cage has been charged with murder for a West Pullman shooting that left Myron Collier dead and another man critically wounded early Thursday, authorities said.

Collier, 24, and the other man were both shot in the head near East 119th Street and South Yale Avenue about 2:05 a.m. Thursday, authorities said.

Collier, of the 10000 block of South Pulaski Road, died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The other man, 29, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for treatment, police said.

Cage, 27, of the 300 block of West 109th Place, was charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder, police said. He is scheduled to appear in court Saturday for a bond hearing.
