A Calumet City woman has been charged with murder in Saturday stabbing of Cierra Moore at a Roseland gas station.

Moore, 27, was stabbed in the leg during a domestic fight at a gas station in the 10000 block of South Michigan Avenue about 2:35 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.

Emergency personnel found Moore unresponsive inside the vehicle about a block away, authorities said.

Moore, of the 3400 block of Hazel Lane in Hazel Crest, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she died at 11:33 p.m. Monday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

A Wednesday autopsy confirmed Moore died of a stab wound to the leg and the death was ruled a homicide.

On Friday, police said Eliza Roper stabbed Moore during a domestic fight at the gas station and Roper was charged with first-degree murder.

Roper, 23, of the 1300 block of South Freeland Avenue in Calumet City, is expected to appear in court Friday for a bond hearing.
