Luis A. Perez was shot to death in the Little Village neighborhood early Sunday.
Police found Perez, 43, shot in the head in the 2300 block of South Washtenaw Avenue about 5:20 a.m., authorities said.
Perez, of the 2700 block of West 24th Street, was dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the killing.
Area Central detectives are investigating if the shooting was gang related.
