Ronnie Montgomery was found shot to death in the University Village neighborhood early Saturday.
Police found Montgomery shot in the chest and shoulder on a sidewalk in the 1300 block of West Hastings Street early Saturday, authorities said.
Montgomery, 24, of the 700 block of West Marquette Road, died less than two hours later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the killing.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
