Charlie R. Weathers was fatally shot in the Austin community Saturday afternoon.
Police found Weathers, 24, shot in the head in the 0-100 block of North Laramie Avenue about 12:45 p.m., authorities said.
Weathers, of the 5000 block of West End Avenue, died at Mount Sinai Hospital at 2:01 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the killing.
Area North detectives are investigating.
