Corey Wallace man was stabbed to death in the Southwest Side Ashburn neighborhood Monday night.
The 21-year-old was stabbed in the chest at 7:20 p.m. near his home in the 7700 block of South Kedzie, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 7:54 p.m.
Police were questioning a person of interest, an adult male, in connection with the incident, but that person was released without charges on Wednesday, according to a police spokesman.
