Antone L. Sims of southwest suburban Oswego was stabbed to death Saturday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.
Sims, 28, was arguing with a woman about 11:10 p.m. in a first-floor apartment in the 11500 block of South Perry Avenue when she stabbed him in the chest with a knife, then ran away, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Sims, of the 100 block of West Devoe Drive in Oswego, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 12:17 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.
An autopsy found Sims died of multiple stab and incise wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
The relationship of the two was not known and no one was in custody as of late Sunday.
