The two were inside the 50 Yard Line Sports Bar & Grill near 75th and Michigan a few minutes before 2 a.m. when someone pulled out a gun and shot them, authorities said.

Andrew Love, 29, was shot in the abdomen and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:52 a.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 7300 block of South Peoria.

Another man, 32, was shot in the leg and was also taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

A car driving away from the bar, which the police said was carrying the shooter, struck a 26-year-old woman who was running from the club near 75th and Michigan, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.

One person was taken into custody Friday in connection with the shooting, but has since been released without charges. Area Central detectives continue to investigate.

Witnesses said the second man shot was a security guard at the club, and neither victim was the intended target of the shooter.
