Sixty-five-year-old Ramon Ramirez was found stabbed to death inside a vehicle early Friday in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
He was found unresponsive with “possible trauma” at 1:02 a.m. inside his SUV, which was parked on the 5700 block of West Grand Avenue, Chicago Police said.
Ramirez, who lived on the same block where he died, was pronounced dead at 2:55 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy Friday found he died from a stab wound to the leg, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Family members told police they believe he was a robbed. No one was in custody as of Friday afternoon.
