Reginald Turner killed just a block from his home in Auburn Gresham

Reginald L. Turner was shot to death late Friday, just a block away from his home in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

The 26-year-old Turner was on the street in the 7700 block of South Sangamon at 10 p.m. when a man shot him in the head, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:17 p.m.

Turner lived a block away in the 7700 block of South Peoria.
